Tri-Valley Francesca's Locations To Close: Reports
Clothing stores in Pleasanton and Livermore will reportedly join hundreds nationwide to close, a company rep told Women's Wear Daily.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton and Livermore locations of Francesca's, a national clothing chain, are reportedly among more than 450 stores nationwide about to close.
From jewelry to bridal and in-season clothing, the mall-based boutique chain is liquidating its inventory, meaning shoppers can expect close-out sales to start soon.
"We are liquidating our inventory and closing soon,” a Francesca's customer service representative told Women's Wear Daily.

Founded in 1999, Houston-based Francesca's opened stores in 45 states, employing more than 3,400 people.
The news of the closing follows a 2020 bankruptcy filing. At the time, Francesca's had about 700 stores and announced 140 locations would close, USA Today reported.

Francesca's has not publicly confirmed the closing. However, its online store is advertising sales of 20 percent off.
Francesca's has locations at the San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore and the Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton. Other Bay Area stores include:

- Bel Aire Plaza: 3634 Bel Aire Plaza, Napa
- The Clocktower Lafayette: 3569 Mount Diablo Blvd, Lafayette
- Hillsdale Shopping Center: 158 W Sailer Dr, San Mateo
- Westfield Oakridge: 925 Blossom Hill Rd #1204, San Jose
- Gilroy Premium Outlets: 8300 Arroyo Cir suite B 50, Gilroy
- Del Monte Shopping Center: 690 Del Monte Center, Monterey
