Tri-Valley Turkey Burn to Run as Planned Thanksgiving Day Morning

4th Annual Charity Events Offers Healthy Start to Thanksgiving Day Morning

The fourth annual Tri-Valley Turkey Burn 5K/10K family fun run, walk or stroll will be held as planned Thanksgiving Morning, Nov. 22.

Organizers with the Pleasanton North Rotary announced their decision to move forward with the charity event Wednesday in response to welcomed rain that is clearing the smoky air from the event site at Pleasanton’s Ken Mercer Sports Park (5800 Parkside Dr., Pleasanton) and the surrounding region. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m., and the walk and run starts at 9 a.m.

Adults, teens, children, infants in strollers and dogs on leashes are all welcomed to this free community event.
