When Steve Martin is in Pleasanton, He Tweets
The actor and banjo player extraordinaire always shares some interesting thoughts about Pleasanton when he visits.
It’s the end of August and those of us who live and work in Pleasanton know that means Steve Martin is likely in town. As you can see by his tweet, his calendar was a little bit hectic ... or not.
On Thursday night Martin tweeted, “I loved being in Pleasanton, CA, today, and here’s my schedule of events.”
When Martin visited in 2012, his oracular tweets caused a stir among East Bay residents and generated media attention.

”Turns out I was in ‘evil’ Pleasanton. There is also ‘good’ Pleasanton, where ‘evil’ Pleasanton goes to shop for gifts and things,” tweeted Martin three years ago.
Martin was in town this year to appear at the Wente Vineyards Summer Concert Winery Series in Livermore and also entertained fans in Sonoma during his annual Bay Area visit.

His parting tweet, “My subtle expressions made our show tonight in Sonoma, CA, especially exciting.”
