Wind Advisory Issued In Pleasanton: National Weather Service
Gusts of up to 24 miles an hour are predicted Wednesday night and Thursday.
PLEASONTON, CA — A Wind Advisory has been issued in Pleasanton and much of the East Bay in anticipation of gusts up to 30 miles per hour, the National Weather Service reported.
The advisory lasts from Wednesday at 8 p.m. until Thursday at 11 a.m. It extends throughout the East Bay, and much of the North Bay, including Sausalito, Santa Rosa, Napa, and San Rafael.
In Pleasanton, the National Weather Service predicts gusts of up to 24 mph Wednesday night, and gusts as high as 24 mph Thursday morning. Gusts will continue into Friday, with gusts as high as 21 mph predicted Thursday night, and gusts as high as 18 mph Friday.

The mountains and hills could see gusts as high as 60 mph, the NWS said.
Residents are advised to secure all outdoor objects, and be warned that trees and tree limbs might fall. Power outages may occur as well. See here for outage information. Drivers are advised to drive with extra caution.
