Youth sports: 12C Phantom Makes Championship Game

Pleasanton's Phantom 12C traveling softball team played several games including a solid victory over a team from Morgan Hill .  On championship day a very strong top-seeded team from Petaluma defeated Phantom with a two-out run in the bottom of the last inning. To top off a weekend of memories and team work, the ladies secured a rare triple-play.  A batter hit a line drive to Phantom pitcher, Marisa Camarena, who threw out a retreating runner off first base, then Daniella Lyng threw out another stunned runner at second base!
