Pomerado Community Band and the Poway Arts & Crafts Guild present a free weekend music festival for the whole family.
The 20th Annual Southern California Community Band Festival and Arts & Crafts Market returns to Old Poway Park on Saturday and Sunday May 17 and 18. Bands will be performing in the gazebo/bandstand from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday and from Noon to 7:30 pm on Sunday. Old Poway Park is located at 14134 Midland Road in Old Poway. While the bands are setting up, there will be lots to see and do in Old Poway Park. On Saturday Arts & Crafts Market booths will be set up along the Historical Museum boardwalk and in the fountain area between the bandstand and the train depot. The Poway Midland Railroad will be running all day and the Farmers Market will be in Midland Road from 8 am to 1 pm. On Sunday the music starts at Noon. Arts & Crafts Market booths by the bandstand will return and the PMRR will again be running all day.
