5th Annual Poway High School Jazz Festival

The 5th annual Poway High School Jazz Festival will be held Wednesday, April 29th at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts. The festival will feature five middle school jazz bands and eleven high school jazz bands from nine San Diego County schools. This year the festival is being coordinated by Josh Alkire for his Senior Project. The festival will begin with the first band taking the stage at 12:30 PM with a dinner intermission following the 5:30 PM performance. The evening session will resume at 6:30 PM and will conclude with a performance by the John Reynolds Gaslamp Quarter Jazz Orchestra at 9:00 PM.
