• Mold concerns delay Del Sur Elementary return until January 2027 (cbs8.com) — Families in Poway Unified will see Del Sur Elementary students remain at Stone Ranch Elementary until at least January 2027 while the district tackles persistent moisture and mold issues on the home campus. Officials say the extended timeline allows for thorough remediation, testing and system checks, as similar mold concerns at Black Mountain Middle School prompt districtwide changes to cleaning and moisture-response procedures.
   

• Three people hospitalized after BMW crashes into Poway store (timesofsandiego.com) — A BMW crashed into the front of North Park Produce on Poway Road Sunday afternoon, leaving three people outside the car with life-threatening injuries and sending them to local hospitals. Deputies say the driver stayed at the scene, is cooperating with investigators, and that alcohol or drugs are not believed to be factors as they continue examining what caused the crash.
