Recent workshops in City Hall outlined specific steps—like removing combustible plants, changing fencing, and clearing debris—along with online resources to help Poway homeowners meet state deadlines through 2030.
   

• Poway moves closer to banning standalone data centers with another unanimous vote (10news.com) — Poway's City Council has unanimously advanced an ordinance to ban standalone AI data centers, with a final vote set for Oct. 6 and implementation 30 days later if approved. City leaders say limited land and minimal jobs from such facilities make them a poor fit, preferring businesses they believe will better benefit Poway's community and economy.
