• Community to celebrate autumn activities at Poway Fall Festival (sandiegouniontribune.com) — Poway residents can enjoy the free Poway Fall Festival this Sunday, Oct. 4, with Midland Road turning into a pedestrian-only hub of vendors, food, music, kids' activities, and a classic car show. Parking, shuttle suggestions, and vendor and sponsorship opportunities are all laid out, giving locals plenty of ways to participate, whether as attendees, businesses, or community groups.
   

• Rancho BEERnardo Festival returns to Webb Park on Saturday (sandiegouniontribune.com) — This Saturday's Rancho BEERnardo Festival in nearby Rancho Bernardo helps fund several Poway causes, including Poway High Robotics and the Poway Center for the Performing Arts. Adults 21 and over can sample local beers, wines, and mocktails, enjoy live music and games at Webb Park, and choose from tiered ticket options that support Rotary grants and community programs.
