BENCHMARK LANDSCAPE RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS FROM CALIFORNIA LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION

For the eleventh consecutive year, Benchmark
Landscape headquarted in Poway, CA has been recognized for excellence by the California Landscape
Contractors Association (CLCA) at the Annual Beautification Awards.  This year Benchmark Landscape earned six awards including top honors in Commercial Construction, California-Friendly Landscape Construction Commercial, two in Commercial
Maintenance and two California Friendly Landscape Maintenance awards.

“I am very happy that the hard work of our
entire team has been recognized by the CLCA,” said John Mohns, president, Benchmark Landscape. “Although our first priority is to please our client, it is always an honor to be acknowledged by your peers.”

Benchmark scored two wins for its project with Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Poway.   This
was a unique project as one of the church’s parishioners donated sixty various sized California Live Oak trees to be used in the new landscaping. Hundreds of
natural boulders were placed throughout the church site along with an extensive plant pallet consisting of California native and drought tolerant plants and
grasses. Additionally, Benchmark Landscape installed a system that pumps ground water into two-5000 gallon above ground tanks to irrigate the property.  With this system, the property will be irrigated properly and the church will save money on its water bill.
