Armed Men Rob Winchell's Donut House In Poway
Two men robbed employees at gunpoint at Winchell's Donut House in the Poway Town Center.
POWAY, CA — Deputies Tuesday were searching for two men who robbed employees at gunpoint at a Poway doughnut shop.
It happened around 7:20 p.m. Monday at Winchell's Donut House in the Poway Town Center near the intersection of Poway and Pomerado roads, San Diego County Sheriff's Lt. Ted Greenawald said.
At least one of the men was reportedly armed with a handgun and they fled northbound in an unknown vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash, Greenawald said.
