Best In Class Launches Creative Writing Competition For Students

POWAY, CA – With schools back in session, the Best in Class Education Center in Poway has launched a creative writing competition for students.

The free short essay competition is for students in second through eighth grades. The writing prompt for all grades is: "You are sitting on a bench at the park waiting for your best friend to arrive when a stranger approaches you and…"

All submissions must be typed and submitted in person to the Poway Best in Class during normal business hours from Aug. 29 through Sept. 8. The education center is located at 12234 Poway Road, Suite 204, in Poway.

Winners in each category will receive a $50 gift card and all participants will receive $20 Best in Class dollars. The winners will be announced on Sept. 15. There will be a prize ceremony on Sept. 16.
