Shop local on the Hamburger Factory/Poway Historical Museum boardwalk on the first Saturday of the month in Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Road where distinctive, one-of-a-kind gifts can be found at the Poway Arts & Crafts Guild's Boardwalk Craft Market. The next Boardwalk Craft Market is on Saturday, June 7 from 8 am to 2 pm.
A Poway tradition since 1993, this juried show of traditional crafts offers good buys from local artisans.
There is a different selection of artists each Saturday. Among those scheduled for June 7 are: Kathi Vargo, mixed metals jewelry, Doris Nixon, children's clothing & toys, and Lorraine Gilbert, animal portraits. Additional artists will be showing photographs, cards and prints, crocheting, beaded and silver jewelry, mosaics and many more items.
Follow the signs around and through the Farmers Market to Old Poway Park. There's lots of parking inside, just steps from the Boardwalk Craft Market.
Thank you, Poway, for all the support you have given us over the years. In 2014 we celebrate 22 seasons of Living History in Old Poway Park!
JUNE 7 IS ALSO THE DATE OF San Diego Folk Heritage's SAM HINTON FOLK FESTIVAL in Old Poway Park. Poway Arts & Crafts Guild Members and guest artists will also be participating in this popular annual event. PLEASE SEE SEPARATE LISTING FOR DETAILS.
