Car Fire Sparks Brush Fire On I-15 In North County
The two left northbound I-15 lanes, south of SR-56, are blocked, according to Caltrans.
SAN DIEGO, CA – A car fire sparked a small brush fire Monday in San Diego's North County.
The vehicle fire sparked and spread to nearby brush on northbound Interstate 15 at state Route 56 in Rancho Peñasquitos, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident was first reported at 3:35 p.m.
The two left northbound I-15 lanes south of SR-56 were blocked due to the fire, according to Caltrans. By 4:22 p.m., lanes were reopened.
