Credit Card, ID Theft Suspect Sought In San Diego County

Do you know this woman? She is wanted for making purchases using stolen cards at Target in Poway and Rite Aid stores in San Diego.

POWAY, CA – Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding a woman wanted for making thousands of dollars in purchases using stolen debit and credit cards.

The suspect stole a wallet from a woman around 11:30 a.m. Jan. 14 at the Vons at 13438 Poway Road in Poway. Within an hour, the woman used four of the victim's credit and debit cards to purchase more than $6,300 in Visa gift cards and other items at the Target in Poway and two Rite Aid stores in San Diego, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect was described as black, between 20 and 30 years old, with a thin build and dark hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a black and white jacket with the word "Pink" on the front, blue denim jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Poway Sheriff's Station at 858-513-2800 or the
San Diego County Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up
to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
