About Mathnasium of Poway
Mathnasium of Poway was founded in 2013 and has been the authority in supplemental education for students since. We are a math-only Learning Center where we teach math in such a way that makes sense to kids.
In turn, we help them catch up, keep up, and get ahead, as well as helping them achieve their goals in math.
We say that Mathnasium is like a gymnasium, except for the mind. In line with this theme, our Learning Center features unlimited, drop-in sessions so you won’t need to schedule any classes, ever. Furthermore, we won't add onto already heavy homework loads or have kids take home long, boring worksheets. Everything is done at the Learning Center!
Everything we do has been designed to give students a solid understanding of math, Number Sense (the ability to determine the correctness of one’s answers), and the confidence that they CAN do it!
• WE ARE: Expert Math Instructors
We only instruct math and specialize in grades 2-12*. Using the time-tested, proprietary Mathnasium Method™, we're committed to helping your child catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math. *(Adult/College-level help also available by request)
• WE PROVIDE: Customized Learning Plans & Personalized Instruction
Your child will receive personalized instruction and a customized learning plan based on their unique needs and goals. The results are measurable progress through quarterly checks, monthly progress reports, and an increased confidence level in math.
• WE ASSIST WITH: Homework Help
Our Instructors also provide instruction on homework assignments that helps address gaps in knowledge and teaches proper study skills. Homework will be seen as a welcome challenge and an opportunity for further learning.
• WE ALSO DO: Standardized Test Preparation
SAT/ACT/ISEE test preparation is included in our programs at no extra charge.
