Discovery Isle® Preschool Students Create Art with Recycled Items

Students used recycled plastics, paper, cardboard and more to create artwork to decorate their school

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Scripps-Poway recently celebrated Earth Day by using recycled materials to create artwork to decorate their school. Students collected recycled paper, cereal boxes, cardboard, bottle tops, plastic cups, cans and more to create colorful sculptures, collages and three-dimensional paintings. The completed artwork was then displayed throughout the school for teachers and students to enjoy. Leading up to Earth Day, students learned about the importance of recycling and caring for the environment.
