Discovery Isle® Preschools Students Donate 95 Pairs of Pajamas

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool on Ted Williams Parkway in Poway and Discovery Isle Preschool in Carlsbad recently collected 95 pairs of pajamas, robes, slippers and more, to benefit children at Rady Children’s Hospital as part of an annual pajama drive through local nonprofit Isabella’s Gift. During the drive, students also wrote notes to accompany the donations that were delivered to children. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving to others, especially during the holiday season.

Isabella’s Gift is a nonprofit organization named in remembrance of a young girl who passed away from cancer at the age of four. The organization, run by Isabella’s parents, has raised more than $110,000 to help provide treatment to children in need and support events at Rady Children’s Hospital. The organization also hosts an annual pajama drive to help kids receiving treatment feel more comfortable while in the hospital.
