Discovery Isle Students Donate over $300 to Ronald McDonald House

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Scripps-Poway recently raised $311 during a penny drive to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. Students and their families contributed spare change to piggy banks that corresponded to their age group, and the group that brought in the most spare change earned an ice cream party. The donations for Ronald McDonald House will provide support to children facing medical crises and their families. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness to others.
