Don't Dress for Dinner by Marc Camoletti

Bernard
plans to entertain his chic, Parisian mistress, for the weekend in his stylish
French farmhouse. He has hired a cordon bleu cook, is sending his wife,
Jacqueline, to her mother’s, and has invited his best friend, Robert, to serve
as an alibi. What could go wrong? Well, suppose Robert arrives not knowing why
he’s been invited? Say, Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers. And what if
the cook is mistaken for the mistress and the mistress—who can’t cook—is
introduced as the cook? Mix these ingredients and you have the recipe for an
evening of hilarious confusion!
