Members of the Poway Arts & Crafts Guild and guest artists will particpate in an Arts & Crafts Market at the Poway Valley Garden Club's Standard Flower Show in Old Poway Park on Saturday April 14. Hours are 9 am to 3 pm.
Arts and crafts items will include: pottery, painted silk scarves and garments, wooden cutting boards, hand spun yarns, hand made soaps, mosaic frames and garden art, jewelry, greeting cards, photography, aprons, tote bags and women's and children's clothing.
The market will be located around the fountain between the train depot and the gazebo/bandstand. The Poway Arts & Crafts Guild sponsors the Boardwalk Craft Market, now in its 20th year in Old Poway Park, and participates in special events, such as the Annual Flower Show. All arts and crafts events are juried to ensure the quality of the work and the appropriateness to the historical character of Old Poway Park.

The Poway Valley Garden Club's 34th Standard Flower Show will take place throughout Old Poway Park's historical buildings and is FREE to the public. The popular plant sale will be held in the park's gazebo/bandstand. Shoppers are advised to arrive early for the best selection as the plant sale frequently sells out quickly.
There is something for the whole family at Old Poway Park. Visitors on Saturday April, 14 will also find a Farmers Market from 8 am to 11:30 am and the Poway Midland Railroad running from 10 am to 4 pm.
