Subramaniam, a master violinist who is an Indian icon, will perform with his son, Ambi Subramaniam, who is following in the musical footsteps of his famous father. The program features a balance of composition and improvisation. They will be accompanied by percussionists playing the thavil (double-head drum), ghatam (clay pot) and morsing (Indian mouth harp).
