It's the first day of trout season at Lake Poway.
A stock of 3,000 pounds of Nebraska rainbow trout is in and re-stocking will be on a bi-monthly basis, with a total of 21,000 pounds of fish.
During the fishing season, which lasts through May, LAke Poway is open at sunrise Wednesday-Sunday.

Permits are required and can be purchased at Lake Poway Grill and Tackle. Seniors 55 and older and Military receive reduced rates. State Fishing Licenses are not required.
