UPDATED: Rescued Poway Hiker in Critical Condition
The rescue happened Sunday afternoon.
A hiker was in critical condition Sunday following his rescue in Lake Poway, authorities said.
The call to emergency responders was made about 3:20 p.m., San Diego Fire-Rescue officials reported.
Callers told authorities the hiker was in distress on a Lake Poway trail; medics performed CPR on the man, after which he was taken to Pomerado Hospital.
