The presentation will include information on how to:

1) Make an emergency kit for your family.

2) Make a disaster kit with all the essentials and 

3) Stay informed before, during and after any disaster.

Poway Fire Dept. "Be Ready for Fire Season" preparedness handouts and a question and answer period regarding the multiple fires in San Diego county during May and what we can do going forward in our community at our homes to prepare and protect should Poway go through a similar experience. With the Wild Fire season in effect, warmer temperatures and little moisture to compensate, the season looks to be all year long this time.

I should note that though we normal keep our meetings strictly to an hour, you might want to anticipate staying a little later this time with all that we have available to us.  In light of the recent fires there could be a lot of questions and answering them may take some extra time.
