Motorcyclist Leads Officers on Pursuit From Poway: CHP
California Highway Patrol initially tried to stop the rider on Interstate 15 on suspicion of speeding.
SAN DIEGO, CA: A speeding motorcyclist led California Highway Patrol officers on a pursuit Sunday from Poway to Tierrasanta, authorities said.
Officers attempted to pull over the Kawasaki for a speed violation on Interstate 15 in the Poway area shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday, but the rider continued south into San Diego, according to the CHP.
The rider eventually stopped on the freeway south of Aero Drive and was taken into custody, according to the CHP.
