Navigating Paths to Healthy Minds: Demystifying Mental Illness and Substance Abuse

The 2014 Forum for Healthy Minds

                         is proud to present:

            Navigating Paths to Healthy Minds

Demystifying Mental Illness & Substance                                            Abuse

The Community Alliance for Healthy Minds (CAHM) is dedicated
to helping individuals and families lead happier, healthier lives through
community education, wellness, and support.
The Forum is designed to empower us to cope with one of life’s most
difficult challenges: successfully
living with mental illness and/or substance abuse. Individuals and families need help and
guidance to navigate the winding paths of our local behavioral health system
with it's many facets and resources it can often feel overwhelming. The Forum is an opportunity for individuals
to join together to share their stories and their collective wisdom to help one
another through this healing and recovery process.

Our keynote speaker will be Divya Kaakaiya, Ph.D., CEDS, who  is a true visionary in the field of Psychotherapy and Neuro-feedback. She is a dynamic, warm and engaging therapist who helps families make positive changes to improve their lives.

Powerful workshops which are geared for parents, family members, teens, young adults and mental health advocates will be a significant feature of this event. Presenters and speakers will be addressing real life issues as they relate to identifying mental health concerns, promoting individual and family wellness, replacing stigma with empowerment, and offering support, education and hope to those affected.
