Nominate A Champion Of The Year Campaign Candidate

Champion of the Year is an exciting new fundraising campaign that will bring together a group of prominent and dynamic individuals from all walks of life who passionately believe in the Best Buddies mission of creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our Champion candidates will compete in an exciting, 8 week campaign to see who can raise the most money for Best Buddies San Diego; ultimately being crowned the 2019 Champion of the Year.

WHO ARE IDEAL CHAMPION NOMINEES?
Anyone who is a passionate advocate for Best Buddies! Champion nominees will use their sphere of influence within the community to champion Best Buddies, our mission, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Past winners in other states have been working professionals, student leaders and retirees. A Champion can be a program participant or volunteer, a prominent community leader or someone you know with a compassionate, philanthropic spirit.
