Parenting Without God - raising moral, ethical and intelligent children, free from religious dogma

Most families have similar desires for their children - to raise them to be people of good character with a strong moral compass, to be kind and helpful, to reach for their goals and to have the courage to persevere through life’s challenges. And families can benefit greatly from a supportive community of people who can reflect and support those values in their children’s lives. Religion has traditionally been the source of this community of support. But what about the rising number of families considered “nones” - families living without religion? This nascent population has begun to connect with each other through social media, and are quietly breaking the traditional societal norms asserting that religious communities were the only place to find positive moral influences for children and families.
