Phở Ca Dao & Grill Undergoes Renovation and Opens Fifth Location

Authentic family-owned Vietnamese restaurant will offer traditional comfort food in 5,000 square foot location in Poway

Phở Ca Dao & Grill, an authentic family-owned Vietnamese restaurant serving classic traditional comfort food, cooks up a new look and opens its fifth location on Jan. 12, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 12719 Poway Rd, Poway, CA 92064. In celebration of its grand opening weekend, Phở Ca Dao & Grill will be providing free PCD phở or any rice dish of choice on Jan. 12-14, 2018 for all local first responders who’ve helped Southern California get through its prolonged fire season.

Phở Ca Dao & Grill, best known for its PCD phở, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup served in broth that’s simmered for 8 to 10 hours, will offer classic recipes along with elevated phở dishes featuring filet mignon, oxtail and seafood, and a made-to-order chargrilled recipes. The 5,000 square foot location is complete with a sit down restaurant and bar serving craft beer and wine, catering kitchen, self-order kiosks and curbside service.

“The Huynh family recipes were created in our own kitchen and have been passed down from generations,” said Thi “Duke” Huynh. “We feel humbled the San Diego community has embraced us and our time-tested family culinary traditions.”

Since its launch in 2001, Phở Ca Dao & Grill has experienced growth with locations in Mira Mesa, East County, Rancho Bernardo, Santee and now Poway. Phở Ca Dao & Grill plans to open its sixth location in Chula Vista in 2018.

Huynh is a long-time foremost leader amongst the Vietnamese-American community and served as a secretary-general of the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and vice director of Tieng Nuoc Toi (TNT) radio. Huynh upholds the importance of community and family, incorporating this value into his family’s 17-year-old restaurant group.

The Phở Ca Dao & Grill grand opening will offer free PCD phở or any rice dish of choice to all first responders including Active duty EMT, firefighters and police officers in uniform or with proper ID on the grand opening weekend.
