San Diego photographer Israel Castillo took a picture with his iPhone every day in 2013 as part of the 365 Photo Project.
With the help of a Kickstarter campaign, his pictures taken across San Diego will be on display Feb. 1-14 at La Bodega Studios and Gallery in San Diego.
The British newspaper The Daily Mail recently published a collection of Castillio's work from the project.
The dedication needed to look for a photo worth taking every day made for good practice, but, even as a photographer, pushed him to look for and find good pictures he wouldn't have found otherwise.
"It challenged me to explore and see life around me," Castillo said. "I'm a light chaser and I found most of my images between 3-7 depending on the time of year and when the good light was around."
