Poway Disaster Recovery Plans to be Addressed at Oct. 19 Community Forum
Learn what residents can expect when they must rebuild after a catastrophe.
In light of the long road to recovery by areas hit by recent catastrophic events, there will be a meeting to assess Poway recovery plans in the event of a disaster. Presented by the Poway Neighborhood Emergency Corps (PNEC), the meeting will be at 7 pm Thursday, Oct. 19, in the Poway City Council Chambers on Civic Center Drive. Speaking at the meeting will be Randy Styner, Deputy Regional Administrator from CalOES and Ray Chaney, the new Crisis Communications Director of 2-1-1 San Diego.
