POWAY EMERGENCY SURVIVAL FAIR
Saturday, August 29, 2015, 9AM – 1PM Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Rd, Poway

Be sure to visit the Poway Emergency Survival Fair Saturday, Aug. 29, from 9 am to 1 pm at Old Poway Park.
Visit booths staffed by organizations that provide emergency planning and assistance. Learn how they can assist families in the development of unique survival plans, such as a strategy when there are mandatory evacuations. Find out what to do if basic services, such as water, gas, electricity, or telephones are cut off. This fair is a community driven event to connect residents with public and private organizations to better prepare us for any emergency.
Those presenting booths at the fair include the San Diego Trauma Intervention Program, San Diego Crime Prevention, Burn Institute of San Diego, Poway City Fire and Safety Services, Poway CERT, San Diego Office of Emergency Services, Retired Senior Volunteer Prevention, Boy Scouts, Read San Diego, SDG&E, Poway Neighborhood Emergency Corps, and the Poway Amateur Communications Team.
