Poway Invitational Field Tournament (PIFT)

18 Southern California High School Marching Bands competitively perform before a panel of judges and a supportive tournament audience

Poway High School’s Emerald Brigade will host the 22nd Annual Poway Invitational Field Tournament (PIFT) on October 18th at Poway High School. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Poway High School Music Program. For PIFT’s 22nd Anniversary, Poway High School welcomes 18 marching bands and color guard from all over Southern California to perform their competitive field show for a panel of judges in front of a supportive tournament audience. The competition highlights music, student teamwork, and an intricate display of team cooperation and discipline. Please join this year’s pageantry for one band or for the entire day. Gates open at 1:30 PM with the first band performances scheduled for 2:30 PM. Our evening performances begin at 6:00 pm. Hundreds of volunteers, including parents, students and alumni are contributing their time and effort to make this a successful and memorable event. City dignitaries, Poway alumni and PIFT sponsors will participate in the evening awards ceremony. Admission is $15 for adults; $10 for seniors, military, and High School and Middle School students; $5 for Elementary School students and children under 5 are free. Free parking will be available at Lake Poway with free shuttle service to an from the event.
