Poway Marijuana Delivery Service Shut Down; $750K Product Seized
Officials arrested three men Friday who are accused of running a mobile marijuana delivery service out of a home on the 13500 block of Acton Avenue.
Authorities shut down the suspected home base of a mobile marijuana delivery service in Poway with $750,000 of product on hand Friday, arresting its three alleged operators and seizing 230 marijuana plants.
The three suspected operators—Jaime Katzenstein, 28; Jason Lujan, 25; and Timothy Tien, 23—are also accused of making "honey or hash oil," which is made through a process that can cause explosions. They have been booked into jail on charges of selling and cultivating marijuana.
The arrests followed the execution of a search warrant at a rental home on the 13500 block of Acton Avenue in Poway around 7 a.m. Friday by investigators from the Narcotics Task Force, according to a news release.

"The investigation conducted led investigators to believe the house had been used as an indoor marijuana farm and a THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) extraction laboratory," the release stated.
Investigators seized 230 marijuana plants and about 20 pounds of processed marijuana with an estimated street value of $750,000. Poway officials are investigating the residence for code violations, and a fire deparment inspector was on scene Friday to evaluate potential fire safety, code compliance and building permit issues.
