Sue Herndon, who has lived in Poway since 1977, is a member of the Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary, member of the Business Council for the Poway Performing Arts Center, board member at the Toby Wells Foundation and board member of the Palomar Pomerado Hospital Foundation.

But that is far from all.
Herndon, a real estate agent, assisted in the development of a center for special needs adults that provides participants the opportunity to explore careers and develop skills needed for everyday life.

Herndon, who is also involved in PTAs, said she looks up to "all women who strive to be the best they can be in all walks of life and give to all who cross their paths."
