Soloists Ensemble with Quartetto Sorrento in concert at RBCPC

Featuring guest artist Quartetto Sorrento, the Soloists Ensemble performs a Concerto Grosso by Vaughn Williams and the ‘Introduction and Allegro’ by Elgar. Conducted by Artistic Director Alyze Dreiling, the Sunday afternoon concert presents a wonderful opportunity to enjoy live, classical music performed with passion and joy.

An encore performance is conducted by Guest Conductor Angel Romero on Saturday, November 14th at the Hoover High School auditorium. By special request, Maestro Romero will perform a few selected solo works on guitar.

Serving as a fundraiser for musician scholarships, door prizes include a Museum of Making Music gift basket and selected premium wines.

About the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (YPO):

YPO is a non-profit performing arts organization based in the North County with an award-winning Soloists Ensemble, a preparatory Soloists Sinfonietta, a Percussion Ensemble partnership with Palomar College, and an Essential Strings program for youth and adults. Collaborations with the Mo’Rhythm School of Percussion and the City Heights Music School are leading to increased community impact through intergenerational classes and outreach to underserved communities.
