Suspected Purse Snatcher Caught On Camera In Poway

POWAY, CA – Authorities released surveillance photographs Friday of a man suspected of stealing a purse from a senior citizen in Poway. San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Poway Sheriff's Station are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating the robbery suspect.
Around noon Sept. 12, the suspect forcefully snatched a purse from the shoulder of a 75-year-old woman while she was walking in the parking lot of Walmart at 13425 Community Road in Poway, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. The suspect fled the area on a skateboard.
Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the Poway Sheriff's Station at 858-513-2800 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
