AT&T Opens Store of the Future in Carmel Mountain Ranch

Telecom Giant Turns Carmel Mountain Plaza Store into Interactive Tech Hub

AT&T is reinventing the retail business and breaking the mold of traditional telecom storefronts with their recent Store of the Future opening. On Thursday, July 28, AT&T re-opened its Carmel Mountain Plaza store as a Store of the Future. This is the company's first North County Store of the Future and a third for the San Diego Region.

The new store, located at 11954 Carmel Mountain Rd., features everything customers need to support their mobile lifestyle. While the store still sells smartphones, it also allows visitors to explore and interact with the latest technology, including e-brochures and interactive video monitors to provide customers with the information they want at their fingertips.

To officially launch the store, AT&T held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 28 at 9 a.m. AT&T representatives were joined by San Diego Councilmember Mark Kersey, North San Diego Business Chamber President & CEO Debra Rosen, and Robert Knudsen, office of Assemblymember Brian Maienschein, and local residents for the event. Attendees got to learn about the Connected Experience Zone, Community Zone and Explore Zone.
