Mike Tarantino (Poway, Calif.), Director of Maintenance and Operations for the Poway Unified School District, was recently Appointed Director At-Large for the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA).
STMA is the professional organization for 2,600 men and women who manage sports fields worldwide. Tarantino was installed at the recent Conference & Exhibition in San Antonio in mid-January.
Officers serve one-year terms while Directors serve two years. STMA conducts its annual elections electronically in late November.
