Two Detained After Hash-Oil Lab Reportedly Uncovered

Authorities served a search warrant today at a Kearny Mesa commercial building where an illegal drug lab reportedly was operating.

The San Diego Police Department Narcotics Unit recently received information about the alleged hash-oil manufacturing activity in the 8200 block of Engineer Road, according to SDPD public affairs.

Hazardous-materials personnel were called in to make sure the structure was safe for detectives to enter, police said.

Two people were detained at the site for questioning, authorities said.
