San Diego County residents Cynthia Linton and Ora Lee were recently awarded the Beauty Changes Lives Massage Therapy Scholarship by Beauty Changes Lives Foundation and Massage Envy to help fund their education at Bellus Academy located in Poway, CA. Linton and Lee are just two of six aspiring massage therapists from the United States to receive this scholarship. Funded by Massage Envy, each woman will receive $2,000 to help pursue their education in massage therapy at Bellus Academy, the leader in career training for the beauty and wellness industries.
Linton’s and Lee’s scholarship applications were reviewed by a judging panel consisting of industry professionals in the beauty and wellness industry. Both women are thrilled to have chosen to receive the Beauty Changes Lives Massage Therapy Scholarship, which was just recently added to the Beauty Changes Lives scholarship program. Linton said, “Winning this scholarship feeds my passion and I am already so passionate about massage therapy. I can’t wait to complete school and get started on an amazing career path.” Lee added, “I’m so excited to continue my career in this industry. I can provide a better life for my children and help give my daughter Kennedy her physical therapy. It is a blessing to use healing hands to change the lives of others.”
