USC Social Work Center Taking Registration for Men's Health Expo

Several topics, including the benefits of MMA training, yoga and dealing with stress, will be discussed.

The USC School of Social Work-San Diego Academic Center is taking final registrations today for the Nov. 9 Mo' You Know men's health event in honor of Movember.

According to organizers, the event will feature a Robert Cromeans Salon for neck β€œclean up” and popchips as a snack sponsor. Chad Little from Pints Prostates is scheduled to be the keynote.

β€œThis fun, informational event will explore all aspects of men's health. We will look at how to lead a balanced lifestyle complete with physical, emotional, medical and emotional health. Discussions will touch everything from the benefits of MMA training and yoga to how to manage stress and critical life events. Other topics include parenting, leadership and testicular/prostate cancer,” organizers wrote on the USC center’s website.

According to information posted on Facebook, the morning will start with breakfast burritos from 9-10a.m. Workshops run from 10-1 p.m.

Admission is free but you must register. You can RSVP at sdac@usc.edu.

The event will take place at San Diego Academic Center, 16870 West Bernardo Drive in Rancho Bernardo.
