Wanted: Suspects in Arson Fires at Poway Middle School

POWAY, CA: Surveillance images of teens who may be responsible for starting fires at a Poway middle school were released Thursday by authorities.
The fires at Meadowbrook Middle School were reported about 8 a.m. Friday, March 11 by a custodian, according to detectives with San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Unit.
The custodian told the Poway Sheriff's Station that fires were set throughout the campus sometime earlier that morning. Posters were lit on fire, as well as a trash can and a locker, detectives said.

Surveillance footage shows the group of juveniles on the school’s property about 1 a.m. Friday, March 11, authorities said.
Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspects was asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anonymous email and text messages can be sent via Sdcrimestoppers.org.
