• Update: Creelman Fire in San Diego County remains fully contained as of Thursday afternoon (sacbee.com) — A wildfire that started July 22 on Creelman Lane in Ramona has burned 347 acres but remains fully contained, meaning firefighters have a control line around the entire perimeter. Officials explain that containment doesn't mean the fire is out, but it is no longer expected to spread while crews work toward full control.
