3. Cub Scout Pack 768 makes benches for Ramona campus (sandiegouniontribune.com) — Ramona Cub Scout Pack 768 recently built and installed three new benches for the courtyard shared by Mountain Valley Academy and Ramona Community Montessori School, giving students more places to sit and gather. Leaders say the project reflects the pack's broader focus on community service, skill-building, and family involvement, and they invite local families to learn more about joining.
4. Burned bobcat rescued from Camp Pendleton fire returns to the wild (10news.com) — A badly burned bobcat treated for more than two months at the San Diego Humane Society's Ramona Wildlife Center has fully recovered and been released near Camp Pendleton. Local wildlife staff used intensive burn care and rehabilitation to restore his health, and they're reminding Ramona-area residents to call professionals rather than handle injured wild animals themselves.
