Military Members Moving to Ramona

VA loans and other financing availble to Military Service Members and others looking to move to Ramona.

More and more, we at TL and Associates are seeing and helping Military service men and women move into the area and purchase aΒ home.Β We believe a combination of things draws these wonderful people to become our neighbors.Β  One of the major factors is the buying power in Ramona as opposed to communities closer to the coast. You can purchase more home and yard for less than in other areas.Β  Another reason is the school system, and lastly the weather and country atmosphere.Β Β

Although veterans and active duty can finance theirΒ home purchase any number of ways, the VA loan solution is one of the best options in the current market.Β  Simply put, a VA Home Loan allows qualified buyers the opportunity to purchase a home with no down payment,Β no monthly mortgage insurance premiums, limitations on buyer's closing costs, and an appraisal that informs the buyer of the property value.Β  For most loans on new houses, construction is inspected at appropriate stages and a 1-year warranty is required from the builder. VA also performs personal loan servicing and offers financial counseling to help veteransΒ  having temporary financial difficulties.

Even if you areΒ notΒ able to use a VA loan, thisΒ should not dissuade you from purchasing a home in Ramona. There are many other types of loans available that anyone meeting certain criteria can take advantage of. For example, a very popular loan being utilized by home buyers in the Ramona area is the USDA loan and nearly all of Ramona properties qualify for this type of financing.Β  Although there are income restrictions, if you qualify you will be eligible for a low interest no money down loan.Β

So regardless of your background, there are many different financing options for first time buyers and to those buyers who are purchasing their second or third home. Although TL & Associates doesn't handle financing, we would be happy to put you in touch with a lender that can answer any of your questions. You just never know what amount you will qualify for until you talk to a lender. Thomas Levin, Broker/Owner and Cheryl Hotchkiss, Realtor.
