RAMONA, CA – Firefighters quickly halted the spread of a brush fire Thursday in Ramona.
The blaze, called the Alice Fire, broke out near Montecito Road and Alice Street, according to Cal Fire.
The fire was reported around 2:20 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log. By 2:45 p.m., Cal Fire officials said the forward rate of spread had been stopped.
