Earthquake Shakes East San Diego County
The quake was recorded Wednesday evening. Did you feel it?

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – A magnitude 3.9 earthquake rattled eastern San Diego County Wednesday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The quake was recorded at 6:36 p.m. near Borrego Springs. Hours earlier, a magnitude 2.5 temblor shook the same area at 3:39 p.m.

- 9.9 miles NNE of Borrego Springs
- 33.6 miles SSE of Palm Springs
- 48.5 miles ENE of Escondido
Residents across the county reported feeling the quake, including in the cities and communities of Escondido, Valley Center, Poway, Ramona, El Cajon, Santee and San Diego, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
